Job Overview

As a pediatrician, you will play a critical role in coordinating proactive care for pediatric patients with chronic conditions and identifying wellness and preventive services tailored to children and adolescents. This role requires close collaboration with clinical staff and reports directly to the Site Medical Director.

Job Description

• Develop effective care plans, ensure continuity and follow-up, and provide whole-person care with appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate records and educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care.
• Supervise advanced practice nurses and residents, review consults and prescriptions, and manage hospital patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement, audits, and protocol development; support PCMH initiatives.
• Attend required meetings, provide community education, and teach students and residents.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Medicine with 1-3 years of experience.
• Active medical license in the state of Indiana.
• DEA, CPR registration for prescribing controlled substances.
