Job Description

• The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults in a primary care setting.
• This role includes collaborating with behavioral health clinicians and primary care providers to develop integrated, evidence-based treatment plans.
• The psychiatrist also offers consultation and crisis intervention support as needed.
• Care is delivered with cultural sensitivity and under California laws, clinical standards, and ethical guidelines.
• The position plays a key role in supporting whole-person care for youth facing mental health, physical health, and substance use challenges.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
• Completed a psychiatric residency at an accredited medical institution.
• Successfully finished a certified fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred.
• Active and Unrestricted California Medical License and Active DEA License.
• Board certified or board eligible.
