Inpatient Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Centra Medical Group has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hematology Oncology Hospitalist Group. Qualified candidates must possess a master's degree, current licensure, and a strong desire to make a difference in our patients' lives by providing excellent compassionate care. Oncology/Hematology experience is required. This new and exciting position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of hematologists/oncologists and advanced practice staff. The position is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Job Description
- Consultation with new admissions and follow-up patient rounds.
- Manage acute and chronic symptoms, treatment side effects, and oncologic emergencies in collaboration with hematologists/oncologists.
- Evaluate laboratory results, adjust supportive care plans, and coordinate discharge planning with hospitalists and the care team.
- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing and other staff, ensuring continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and their families facing cancer.

Compensation Information
$120,000.00 / Annually - $140,000.00 / Annually
