ChildWay Pediatric Services is home to medically fragile children who need constant care. ChildWay serves as a non-profit organization within the Lansdale and East Norriton community that has retrofitted residential homes to accommodate the needs of the medically fragile population we serve. Our medical facilities provide a welcoming environment for the children to live in.

ChildWay is currently seeking Nurse Techs to join our dedicated team. Our ideal candidate is hard-working, passionate about the care they give, and willing to be a team player. We are currently hiring for part-time and full-time positions.

Job Description

• Support the mission, vision, and values of ChildWay.
• Provide quality care to individuals that promotes their rights, dignity, and freedom of choice.
• Assist with feedings, changings, dressing, bathing, and any other patient needs.
• Assist the professionals on duty.
• Promote positive public relations with consumers, family members, and guests.
• Maintain good communication with co-workers, nursing staff, physicians, and management to maintain a positive working environment.
• Maintain ongoing records of materials and supplies ordered and used for individuals/house.
• Work under supervision of professionals and collaborate with nurses and other professionals. Seek guidance from professionals for any questions or concerns.

Requirements

• Clean criminal, FBI, and child abuse background checks.
• BLS certification (preferred, but not required).
• First Aid certification (preferred, but not required).
• High school diploma or CNA certification (CNA certification not required; training is provided).
• Willingness to work with children.
• Willingness to work at all locations.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
