Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse assists the Registered Nurse in the delivery of patient care. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the LPN is responsible for administering direct patient care, treatments as ordered by the physician, and administering medications as outlined by hospital policy and procedure.

Job Description

• Assist the Registered Nurse in the delivery of patient care
• Administer direct patient care and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Administer medications as outlined by hospital policy and procedure

Requirements

• Graduate of a State Board of Practical School of Nursing or equivalent
• Six (6) months experience preferred
• Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Louisiana upon hire
• BLS certification upon hire

Work Schedule

• Night Shift 7 PM - 7 AM
