The Clinovators Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive primary care for veteran populations. In this role, you provide diagnosis, care, and treatment of assigned/unassigned patients with acute care needs. The physician will demonstrate proficiency in practice, managing both regulatory and complex patient care with a focus on Veteran Health and strategic planning.
Job Description
- Manage patient panel of 700-900
- Provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to veteran patients
- Conduct histories and physical examinations and prescribe medications and/or medical treatments based on best practice standards
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients; educate and advise on medical issues as needed
- Provide referrals both internally and externally to appropriate medical resources or specialty
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor progress of patients
- Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives
- Maintain medical records using the appropriate EMR
- May formulate and administer health programs as needed
- Support veteran-specific mental health needs
Requirements
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
- At least three years of post-residency clinical experience
- Experience in a primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting. Occupational healthcare experience may apply in some clinics
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state within which the site is located
- Must be Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS or Board Eligible in aforementioned practice areas
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations

Pay
$125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
