Job Description:
- Provide medical services and contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, values-based patient care.
- Obtain a comprehensive general health history.
- Provide OB/GYN medical services within the scope of licensure and credentialing.
- Screen for health risks and health promotion needs.
- Perform comprehensive and problem-focused physical examinations.
- Identify deviations from normal findings and order or perform screening and diagnostic tests.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret screening and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and analyze differential diagnoses based on clinical and laboratory data.
- Diagnose gynecologic, obstetric, reproductive, and common non-gynecologic primary care health conditions.
- Develop a plan of care based on assessment findings and diagnoses.
- Provide health promotion, disease prevention education, counseling, and anticipatory guidance.
- Prescribe pharmacologic and initiate non-pharmacologic therapies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in care coordination.
- Actively participate in the development and execution of clinic policies.
- Participate in committees and performance improvement initiatives.
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory agency standards.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited medical program recognized as license eligible for the Oregon State Medical Board.
- Current Oregon State Licensure.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Certifications as required by Medical Staff Credentialing/Bylaws.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of clinic/hospital practices and equipment use.
- Skill in communicating with patients and their families or caregivers.
- Ability to write and/or dictate reports and correspondences.
Compensation:
- Pay Range: $196.27 - $250.42/hour
