Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our community-oriented, full-service hospital in Carlsbad, NM. This role offers a balanced mix of bread-and-butter general surgery and complex cases, with strong institutional support and modern technology—including access to a DaVinci robot, with training available for those who are new to robotics. This is a great opportunity for both new graduates and experienced surgeons seeking to build a long-term practice.

Job Description

• Full-scope General Surgery (bread & butter + complex cases)
• DaVinci robot available, robotics training provided
• Mentorship available for new graduates
• 10 days of ER call per month
• Level III Trauma Center
• Hospital-employed position with immediate volume
• New grads and experienced surgeons encouraged to apply
