Nocturnist

We are currently seeking a residency-trained internal medicine or family practice nocturnist for a night shift position from 7 pm to 7 am, working on a 7-nights on, 7-nights off block schedule. This role involves rotating across multiple hospitals primarily located in Greensboro, all within five to seven minutes of each other. Physicians are credentialed across all four health campuses, with rotations assigned based on system needs.

Job Description

• All nights - 7 on/7 off
• Admissions mainly
• 8 admissions per 12-hour shift
• There are 3 - 11 pm and a 6 pm - 2 am swing shift physicians
• Typically 2 nocturnists on with mid-level support
• Very robust and competitive compensation and benefits
• 1 week of PTO

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine or family medicine, preferably with hospitalist experience
• Comfortable rotating between nearby facilities
