Locums Endovascular Neurosurgeon

We are seeking a board-certified Endovascular Neurosurgeon to join our team for dedicated interventional stroke call coverage. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled neurosurgeon to focus exclusively on a critical area of patient care within a certified stroke center.

Job Description

• As an Endovascular Neurosurgeon on our team, you will be a vital part of our specialized Stroke Team, providing 24/7 call coverage for interventional stroke cases.
• This role is focused on acute cerebrovascular interventions, separate from general neurosurgery call.
• You will be supported by a comprehensive team including Neurohospitalists, a dedicated Stroke Nursing Team, and the Neurosurgery Trauma Team.
• Coverage: 7 days per month, 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM).
• Patient Population: Inpatient, specifically for interventional stroke.
• EMR System: Epic.

Requirements

• Board certification in Neurological Surgery is required.
• Active Missouri medical license is highly preferred due to a 90-day credentialing timeframe. IMLC is not a deterrent, but a MO license must be in place before the credentialing process begins.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Fellowship training is preferred.
