Anesthesiologist

Join our team at a Level III Trauma Center located in Berlin, VT. This position offers an opportunity for a long-term locum with a flexible start date.

Job Description

• Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call Shifts: 24-hour call (first 10 hours in-house, remainder home call)
• Weekend Call: Home call rotation with a 20-minute response time
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Scope

• Daily Volume: 4 to 5 procedures per day (up to 10 on cataract days)
• Case Mix Includes:
  • Ortho (regional anesthesia)
  • OB (spinal/epidural)
  • Central & arterial line placement
  • Airway management

Team Structure

• Solo practice on non-call days
• Medical direction of CRNAs & AAs on call days
• Occasional senior anesthesia resident support
• Weekday support from surgical team & anesthesia techs

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• License: Active Vermont license (Required); must be able to obtain temporary privileges quickly
