Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

Join our team in New Brunswick, NJ, as an Advanced Practice Provider providing overnight neurology coverage in an inpatient Level 1 Trauma setting. This ongoing locum assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Job Description

• Responding to stroke codes and performing NIHSS assessments
• Conducting full neurological evaluations for consults and primary cases
• Supporting patients per shift
• Collaborating with an on-site neurology resident
• Consulting with two attending neurologists available by phone
• Working within a Level 1 trauma center (no trauma experience required)

Requirements

• Inpatient neurology or hospital-based APP experience preferred
• Board Certified NP or PA
• Active NJ license
• NIHSS certification
• Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred

Schedule

• 7 days/week, 6:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekends included in rotation
