Pediatric Pulmonologist Locum Tenens

Join our team as a Pediatric Pulmonologist in Chicago, IL. This position offers a 6-month contract with a focus on both outpatient and inpatient care.

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Outpatient: 10 hours/week
• Inpatient Consults: 30 hours/week
• Call: Weeknights and weekends (callback rare, approximately 4 times a year)

Requirements

• Active IL license or IMLC required due to urgency
• Board Certification in Pediatric Pulmonology (ABP)
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, DEA, IL CSR
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric pulmonology

Facility Overview

• Type: Acute Care Hospital (660 beds)
• Setting: Pediatrics Outpatient & Inpatient (post-PICU)
• Patient Load: 8 to 10 outpatients/day, 1 to 4 inpatient consults/day
