Pediatric Hospitalist

Join our team in Jersey City, NJ, for an exciting opportunity in inpatient pediatric hospital medicine. This position offers a chance to work closely with a dedicated NICU team and provide essential care to pediatric patients.

Job Description

• Inpatient pediatric hospital medicine coverage
• Cover pediatric hospitalist beds, nursery, and deliveries
• Work closely with NICU team as backup
• No procedures required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics (required)
• Active New Jersey medical license
• Ability to cover onsite and call responsibilities
• Must be available for a minimum of 10 shifts per month (3 weekends included)

Schedule

• 10 shifts/month (including 3 weekend days)
• Onsite: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Call: 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Clinical Details

• Patient Load: daily
• Trauma Level: II
• EMR: Epic (inpatient only)
• Work Model: Solo provider with NICU physician support
• APPs present; locums not responsible for oversight
