    Registered Nurse (RN), Behavioral Medicine

    Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Behavioral Medicine department. This full-time position involves variable 12-hour shifts with every other weekend.

    Job Description

    • Provide comprehensive mental health care to individuals between the ages of 18-59 in a 29-bed locked unit.
    • Conduct daily psychiatric assessments, therapy, and medication management to meet the emotional, behavioral, physical, cultural, educational, and spiritual needs of the adult patient population.
    • Ensure safety practices including 15-minute safety checks and staff monitoring of all community areas.
    • Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional care.

    Requirements

    • Current state RN license.
    • Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
    • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
    • CPR certification preferred.
    • Dysrhythmia certification preferred.
