Urgent Care Provider

Join our team as an Urgent Care Provider in a walk-in clinic setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provides essential urgent care services.

Job Description

• Ages 2 and up
• 4 patients per hour
• 8 AM - 8 PM
• ACLS and BLS required
• Prefer a board-eligible or certified provider, but not a requirement
• Walk-in clinic focused on bread and butter urgent care
• Typical support staff includes 1 receptionist and 2 medical assistants
• Responsibilities include suturing, casting, splinting, X-rays, and IMDs
• Travel and lodging available for flight, hotel, and rental if necessary
• Typical cases seen include cold, cough, flu, and some COVID
• All new providers must come in for a 4-hour training course prior to the first day to learn EMR and to shadow
• Will be the only provider in the clinic
• Possibility of 1-week credentialing
• Providers with any pending malpractice will not be accepted
