Physician Assistant
St. Joseph Healthcare, a Covenant Health member, is currently seeking a Physician Assistant for its Emergency Department at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bangor, Maine. Candidates will have completed (or be in the process of completing) a U.S.-based Emergency Medicine fellowship and/or have at least one year of clinical experience in an Emergency Department. Nurse Practitioner applicants must be highly qualified, with prior Emergency Department and trauma experience.
This role offers a variable weekly schedule, including 8, 10, or 12-hour daytime shifts, with no overnight or on-call requirements. The department features single physician coverage, with 5 hours of overlap and double PA coverage during peak periods.
