Pediatrician or Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

Job Description
- Provide primary pediatric care that spans preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
- Conduct well-child visits, perform immunizations, and address developmental milestones through screenings.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, from routine illnesses to more complex needs.
- Guide families with essential wellness and nutritional advice, counsel on vaccinations, and provide developmental support.
- Work collaboratively with an integrated healthcare team to coordinate care with specialists and community resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and follow FQHC standards.
- Supervise medical students, residents, and support staff (for Pediatricians).
Requirements

For Pediatrician (MD/DO):
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Active and unrestricted California medical license.
- DEA license with prescribing authority.

For Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA):
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Board Certified as a Pediatric NP, Family NP, or PA-C with pediatric experience.
- Active and unrestricted California NP or PA license.
- DEA license with prescribing authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a community health or FQHC setting.
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or other languages spoken in the community).
- Experience working with underserved and diverse patient populations.
