Job Description

• Provide primary pediatric care that spans preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Conduct well-child visits, perform immunizations, and address developmental milestones through screenings.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, from routine illnesses to more complex needs.
• Guide families with essential wellness and nutritional advice, counsel on vaccinations, and provide developmental support.
• Work collaboratively with an integrated healthcare team to coordinate care with specialists and community resources.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and follow FQHC standards.
• Supervise medical students, residents, and support staff (for Pediatricians).

Requirements

• For Pediatrician (MD/DO):

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Active and unrestricted California medical license.
  • DEA license with prescribing authority.

• For Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA):

  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
  • Board Certified as a Pediatric NP, Family NP, or PA-C with pediatric experience.
  • Active and unrestricted California NP or PA license.
  • DEA license with prescribing authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a community health or FQHC setting.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or other languages spoken in the community).
• Experience working with underserved and diverse patient populations.
