Job Description

• Work dates needed: Ongoing. Length of assignment: Minimum 6 months, minimum number of shifts acceptable: 6.
• Preferred schedule: Shift details: 6a - 6p, 6p - 6a. (12 hours per shift) Day & night shift, full time (48 shifts).
• Worksite setting: Inpatient/hospital, trauma level: 3.
• Scope of work: 48,000 annual volume; patients per day: 131; ED beds & fast track beds: 38.
• EMR: Cerner.

Requirements

• Active state license required: Yes, TX.
• Board certification required: Yes, certified or board eligible or with 4,000 hours of EM experience, ATLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Completed residency with 2 years of ED experience.

Additional Details

• Residencies accepted: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.
• Alternative boards not accepted.
• Client is willing to pay for travel expenses: Yes.
• Backup specialties: IM, PEDS, Cardiology, GI, OB, Neurology, Neurosurgery, ENT, Ortho, Surgery, CATH LAB.
