    Occupational Medicine Physician

    Join our team as an Occupational Medicine Physician in an outpatient setting. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on patient care and collaboration.

    Job Description

    • Obtain complete medical history and perform physical exams for patients.
    • Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate laboratory, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures as needed.
    • Synthesize data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention.
    • Collaborate with physicians, as needed or per protocol, in managing acute and long-term medical (and worker compensation-related) needs of patients.
    • Administer medications and injections in compliance with state law and clinic guidelines.
    • Manage medical and surgical emergencies.
    • Perform therapeutic and minor surgical procedures, including suturing minor lacerations, SubQ foreign body removal, simple foreign body removal of the eye/cornea, and burn care.
    • Instruct patients regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provide patient education.
    • Review patients' tests and examination results.

    Requirements

    • WA license
    • DEA
    • BLS
    • DOT certification would be a huge plus but is not a requirement.

    Work Schedule

    • Work dates needed: As soon as credentialed and ongoing for a minimum of 3 months, Monday to Friday.
    • Preferred schedule: 7 AM to 4 PM.
