Occupational Medicine Physician
Join our team as an Occupational Medicine Physician in an outpatient setting. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on patient care and collaboration.
Job Description
- Obtain complete medical history and perform physical exams for patients.
- Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate laboratory, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures as needed.
- Synthesize data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan utilizing principles of prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, as needed or per protocol, in managing acute and long-term medical (and worker compensation-related) needs of patients.
- Administer medications and injections in compliance with state law and clinic guidelines.
- Manage medical and surgical emergencies.
- Perform therapeutic and minor surgical procedures, including suturing minor lacerations, SubQ foreign body removal, simple foreign body removal of the eye/cornea, and burn care.
- Instruct patients regarding medications and treatment instructions. Provide patient education.
- Review patients' tests and examination results.
Requirements
- WA license
- DEA
- BLS
- DOT certification would be a huge plus but is not a requirement.
Work Schedule
- Work dates needed: As soon as credentialed and ongoing for a minimum of 3 months, Monday to Friday.
- Preferred schedule: 7 AM to 4 PM.
