Job Description
- Preferred schedule: Mon-Sat: 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 10 AM - 8 PM, 3 PM - 1 AM, 8 PM - 6 AM; Sun: 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM, 10 AM - 8 PM, 2 PM - 10 PM, 3 PM - 1 AM, 8 PM - 6 AM at site 2 FSED with all 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
- Worksite setting: Inpatient, hospital trauma level - Stroke Certified, ED bed count: 37 beds; Site 2 FSED: 8 beds
- Scope of work: Emergency Medicine, annual patient volume: 53,691 for hospital and 40,150 for FSED, both slightly decreased; average daily census: hospital: 142.6 and FSED: 102, both slightly decreased
- Licenses, certifications, requirements: Active TN license, board-certified, ABEM, ACLS and PALS required with moderate sedation test
- EMR: Cerner

- APC coverage: Main hospital hours of coverage are from 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 9 AM - 7 PM, 3 PM - 1 AM, and 9 PM - 7 AM; FSED APC hours of coverage are from 6 AM - 6 PM, 9 AM - 9 PM, and 3 PM - 1 AM
- Admitting orders: Bridge
- Trauma center designation: No trauma designation; in process to achieve by 2026
- Reason for locum need: Open FTEs
