Join our team at Kaiser Permanente - Moanalua Medical Center as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This position is available due to a shortage while we are in the process of recruiting new staff.

Job Description

• Provide anesthesia services in a hospital setting, including General, Orthopedics, GI, GYN, Neuro, ENT, Vascular, and optional Regional Blocks. No Hearts, Transplants, or OB cases.
• Operate independently under medical supervision with a physician available to assist but not direct.
• Work Monday to Friday for a total of 40 hours weekly, with a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Shifts may include 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• No call responsibilities.
• Daily census depends on scheduled cases and room assignments.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified CRNA.
• Candidates must be licensed in Hawaii; licensing candidates will not be considered initially.

Additional Information

• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days.
• The facility has 13 operating rooms and 2 GI suites, with support from anesthesiologists and CRNAs who must be comfortable operating independently.
• The electronic medical record system used is EPIC (Health Connect, Kaiser Permanente's version of EPIC).
