Neurology Call Coverage

We are seeking a provider for 12 weeks of coverage in a 6-month period, with 1-2 week blocks available. This position involves inpatient neurology call coverage.

Job Description

• Provide 24-hour call starting 10/01/25 for 1-2 weeks over a 6-month period.
• Manage general neurology call (no stroke code response required) and round on hospitalized stroke patients.
• Maintain daytime in-house presence from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Sunday, with nighttime call handled remotely (phone).
• Average daily patient encounters include a census of 4 new consults.

Requirements

• Board certification in Neurology is required.
• COVID and flu vaccinations are required, with religious and medical exemptions accepted.
• Preference for an active license, but candidates with Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) are also considered.

Practice Setting

• The practice includes two sites: St. John's Hospital and Woodwinds Hospital (call only).
• Credentialing timeframe is 60+ days.
