Crouse's Surgical Suite/Operating Room is hiring a Clinical Supervisor to oversee service delivery and patient procedures.

Job Description

• Supervise staff to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate services in the daily operations of the department.
• Function as a member of the management team, assisting the Nurse Manager in overseeing the unit according to required professional, legal, and regulatory accredited standards, and act as a role model for all unit staff.
• Operate within the framework of the objectives and policies for defined patient populations and assume responsibility for hiring, discipline, education, administration, and terminating functions.

Requirements

• Must be currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or a Bachelor's degree in another field with current matriculation in a Master's in Nursing degree program with an established program end-date required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire or within 6 weeks after hire.
• Three (3) years' experience as a staff nurse with demonstrated expertise in a clinical field (Operating Room or Surgical Nursing).
• Certification in a specialty area preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership work experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Outlook.
