Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

A hospital located a short drive from the South Carolina Coast is seeking an experienced orthopedic NP/PA to join a hospital-employed orthopedic practice. The orthopedic provider will specialize in diagnosing and treating general orthopedic conditions, particularly focusing on total ortho needs such as hips, knees, foot/ankle, sports medicine, and shoulders. This advanced practice provider will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality orthopedic care and advanced surgical procedures.

Job Description

• Outpatient and inpatient role with standard office hours (Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm)
• Protected administrative time (4 hours per week)
• Call schedule for APP: clinic first then backup call of on-call physician
• Average patient volume: 17-20 patients per day
• Demographics: Primarily teen to adult patients with a range of orthopedic issues, focusing on those requiring joint replacement surgeries
• Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses up to 90% MGMA over base salary
