Job Description

• Hospital-based and ASC coverage
• Inpatient rounding
• Outpatient clinic and procedures
• Support includes 4 RNs, 1 NP/PA, 1 MA, and 4 office staff
• No teaching or APP supervision required

Schedule

• Only 1-2 weeks per month
• Outpatient: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM clinic hours plus in-house call

Procedures and Cases

• Upper and lower GI endoscopy
• ERCP and EUS preferred
• Colonoscopy with polypectomy and biopsy
• Liver biopsy, PEG, variceal injections
• Full GI diagnostic and therapeutic capability preferred

Requirements

• NC license required
• Board-certified in Gastroenterology
• Fellowship trained
• BLS and ACLS are required

Credentialing Requirements

• Estimated credentialing: 90 days
• Hospital privileges required
