Job Description

• Just one weekend per month
• Pager call only; respond from hotel
• Extremely light workload, only a handful of call-ins all year
• Easy credentialing in 30-45 days

• Inpatient hospital coverage

Schedule

• Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM
• Pager call only; no rounding unless a new admission occurs
• Flexible monthly scheduling

Cases and Procedures

• Rare emergent hem/onc consults through ED
• Average call volume is minimal
• Most weekends involve few or no patient interactions

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• Active Kentucky license (or IMLC eligible)
• BLS and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Lodging and mileage reimbursed
• Ideal for physicians within driving distance (e.g., Nashville or Evansville)
