Medical Oncology Physician locums opportunity in Georgia in Macon providing outpatient cancer care across two nearby clinic locations.

Job Description

• Outpatient-only oncology coverage
• Minimum two weeks per month
• Light weekend call rotation
• Coverage across two nearby clinics

Practice Setting

• Adult oncology clinic environment
• Care delivered in Macon and Hawkinsville locations
• Dedicated oncology support staff
• No bone marrow transplant or acute leukemia cases

Schedule

• Monday through Friday clinic hours
• Three days in one clinic and two days in the second location
• Ongoing monthly block coverage
• One weekend call per month

Cases and Procedures

• General Medical Oncology patient care
• 20 to 25 patients per day
• Weekend rounding averages 6 to 8 patients
• No hematology responsibilities

Requirements

• Board Certified Medical Oncology or Hematology and Oncology Physician
• Active Georgia license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA
