Radiation Oncologist

Minnesota Radiation Oncology group seeking locums coverage for a mix of inpatient and outpatient duties. Only 3 days per week with dates still available through winter and into the new year.

Job Description

• Only 3 weekdays per week - supplement current physician
• Coverage dates still available from summer through January
• Long-term locums assignment potential

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based practice
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
• Support staff includes 2 RNs, 3 administrative staff, and a 2-provider team
• Serving an adult patient population

Schedule

• Ongoing assignment - weekly need
• Only 3 days per week
• Specific coverage dates requested between August and January
• Shared hospital consult call (50/50 split)

Procedures and Cases

• General Radiation Oncology: consults, treatment, follow-ups
• Must be experienced with EBRT, IMRT, OGRT, SBRT, SRS, and TSE
• Daily average: 15 visits, 25 patients on treatment

Requirements

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
• Active MN license or open to IMLC Radiation Oncologists
• Will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing time: 90 days
• Long-term need - ideal for those seeking consistent supplemental work
