Weekend Urology Call Coverage in North Carolina

An excellent opportunity is available in North Carolina for a Urologist seeking a supplemental, weekend-only locums assignment. This interim role is ideal for balancing a full-time practice with additional work.

Job Description

• Weekend-only 24-hour call provides a great work-life balance.
• Only 3-9 shifts are needed per month for this ongoing role.
• Low-volume setting, with an average of 7 patients seen per day.

Practice Setting

• This assignment is entirely inpatient-based.
• You will be responsible for call coverage for the facility.
• Patient population includes all ages.

Schedule

• Coverage is from Friday morning to Monday morning.
• This is a long-term, ongoing need with assignments still available this fall.
• In-house and telephone call with a 30-minute response requirement.

Cases

• Responsibilities include rounding and consulting on general urology cases.
• You will perform necessary procedures as they arise during call.

Requirements

• Must hold a current North Carolina state license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Urology.
• Requires active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
• A minimum of 24 months of experience is required.

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing takes approximately 60-90 days to complete.
• Our team provides full support for this short-term credentialing process.
