Locum Tenens CRNA Anesthesia Coverage

Join our team at WellSpan Health York Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing anesthesia coverage. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Job Description

• Provide anesthesia coverage across a variety of cases
• Must be comfortable responding to codes
• Cardiac and OB anesthesia not required but preferred
• 1:3 or 1:4 CRNA supervision ratio
• Work alongside SRNAs (Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists)
• 36 sites of service daily including 15 general ORs and 2 OH
• Anesthesia tech support provided (techs do not report to the anesthesia team)

Requirements

• Must be licensed in PA or through IMLC
• Credentialing timeline: days
• Certifications required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NBCRNA Certified
• Board certification: Required
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center: Preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR: Preferred

Assignment Details

• Start date: June 1, 2025
• End date: March 31, 2026
• Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week (M Th or T F); 40 hours/week
  • Willing to split hours between providers depending on availability
• Holiday coverage: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
• Call: No call
• Telehealth: Not required
