    Clinical Care Provider

    Join our dedicated team as a Clinical Care Provider, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

    Job Description

    • Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.
    • Perform daily inpatient rounds, write orders, and manage discharge planning.
    • Assist in outpatient clinics for cancer surveillance and follow-up.
    • First assist in surgical procedures.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with surgeons.
    • Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and recovery.
    • Act as a liaison between patients, families, nursing staff, and physicians.
    • Facilitate referrals to other specialties and community resources.
    • Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary care meetings.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record, Epic.
    • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies
    • Current Indiana state licensure as NP or PA
    • Certification in surgical or oncology specialty preferred (e.g., AOCNP)
    • BLS/ACLS certification
    • DEA license
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in oncology or surgical care preferred
