Radiologist - Locum Tenens Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Radiologist for a Locum Tenens opportunity at our Cooperstown, NY location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong diagnostic skill set and be comfortable handling a varied caseload of CT, US, MRI, and Plain films.

IR is 60% IR / 40% DX.

This position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no call requirements. The average patient load ranges from 70-100 per day, depending on the type of mixture. Our facility utilizes EPIC for charting, McKesson PACS for imaging, and Nuance Power scribe 360 for voice recognition dictation.

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Shifts Times: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Average Patients/Shift: 70-100/day depending on the type of mixture (CT, US, MRI, Plain films). Some days may involve a predominance of one category, while others may have a more varied mixture. US includes OB.
• Call Required: No call
• Types of Cases: Caseload includes a mixture of CT, US, MRI, and Plain films. Cases may vary each day, and the load is dependent on the type of mixture.
• Caseload (peds, adult, geriatric, etc.): 70-100/day depending on the type of mixture.
• Any Procedures Required: Dx Only

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified in Radiology
• Required Certifications:
  • ABR
  • NYS License

Charting

• EPIC
• McKesson PACS
• Nuance Power scribe 360 Voice Recognition dictation
