We are seeking Emergency Medicine MDs looking to work an ongoing locums assignment with an excellent management team! We are willing to work with your schedule requests to best fit your availability.

Job Description

• Assess patients that enter the ER immediately and oversee emergency patients' recovery.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patients' condition.
• Request the appropriate medical tests and based on them, follow a treatment plan.
• Develop effective patient care plans.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists.
• Ensure that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation.
• Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.
• Maintain the patients' medical records.
• Coordinate with different ER departments to ensure patients receive the necessary treatment.

Available shifts (staggered 3 hour start):

• Days: 7am-5pm
• Mid: 10am-8pm
• Mid: 1pm-11pm
• Mid: 3pm-1am
• Nights: 7pm-5am

Requirements

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
• Active unrestricted CA license
