Locum General Cardiology MD/DO

Join our team in Grand Junction, CO, for a locum tenens opportunity in General Cardiology. This position offers a chance to work in both hospital and clinic settings with a flexible schedule.

Job Description

• Start date: ASAP with availability through November, December, and January
• Credentialing takes approximately 30-45 days
• Contracts available for 3 to 6 months
• Schedule: Clinic (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM), Hospital (Monday to Sunday, 7 AM to 5 PM if not in the clinic), on-call if in the hospital (2 nights of call)
• Patient volume: 13-15 patients in the clinic and 25-30 in the hospital (with APP support)
• Procedures: Prefer transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) and cardioversion
• EMR: EPIC
• License: Colorado or IMLC - will wait for license
• Certifications required: Board Certified (BC), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), DEA
