Locum Primary/Urgent Care Provider

Locum Primary/Urgent Care provider needed near Havre, Montana. This position is with the Indian Health Service in Montana and requires an MT license.

Job Description

• Work schedule: Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM
• No overtime unless prior approved for patient care only (no overtime for documentation); providers need to complete charting the same day or with the patient to ensure they are not getting behind with charting
• Procedures: Primary care, must be comfortable seeing all ages, and treating hypertension, diabetes management, and chronic care
• Urgent care and primary care setting mostly
• One day a week doing follow-ups with chronic care patients
• Helping with opioid awareness

Requirements

• MT license required (enrolled with MT Medicaid & Medicare)
• Certifications: BC, ACLS, BLS, DEA

Credentialing

• 2-3 weeks

Contract Details

• Start: September 29
• End: 3-6 month contract
