Join our team as a Locum Cardiovascular Surgery APP in Charleston, SC. This position offers top hourly pay, night call, weekend call, and travel expenses in a hospital setting.

Job Description

• Provide care as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in a cardiovascular surgery setting
• Credentialing process takes approximately 30 days, potentially quicker
• Start as soon as credentialed/licensed
• Minimum contract length of 3 months
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM
• Participate in 1:4 night call and 1:4 weekend 24-hour call
• Patient volume varies
• Perform all cardiovascular operating room procedures needed, including Hemopro and vein harvesting
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records
• Must have a South Carolina license or be willing to wait for licensure
• Required certifications: NP/PA, ACLS, BLS, DEA

Additional Information

• The role will involve 90% operating room work with minor floor cross coverage as needed
• The client reserves the right to request providers to come in on their 24-hour call weekend if needed.
