Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) invites Nurse Practitioners (APRN) with a passion for Endocrinology to apply for a rewarding outpatient hospital employed opportunity. We are offering a thriving endocrinology outpatient practice in the picturesque town of Vernon, Connecticut. Our team consists of 2 skilled endocrinologist physicians and dedicated medical assistants. In this role, you will manage your own patient panel with a focus on the prevention and management of endocrine diseases. You will provide diagnostic management and individualized treatment for various endocrine disorders that include diabetes, thyroid issues, adrenal gland disorders, osteoporosis, etc. ECHN practice promotes a work-life balance with a Monday through Friday daytime schedule. Phone call coverage rotates every 3 weeks on weekdays, and there is no weekend call coverage. Job Description

• Manage your own patient panel with a focus on the prevention and management of endocrine diseases
• Provide diagnostic management and individualized treatment for various endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid issues, adrenal gland disorders, and osteoporosis
• Participate in a collaborative work environment with skilled endocrinologists and medical assistants

Requirements

• Graduate advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program; prefers 2 or more years of experience in Endocrinology
• Connecticut License, Federal DEA, and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) or soon eligible
