Obstetrics Gynecological (OB/GYN) and Urology Physician Assistant
Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) invites Physician Assistants (PA-C) to apply for a full-time inpatient Obstetrics Gynecological (OB/GYN) and Urology Physician Assistant opportunity at Manchester Memorial Hospital, a highly regarded community hospital located in the heart of Manchester, Connecticut. The department is currently supported by two advanced practice providers, increasing to three due to increased volume, featuring no current call requirement, with shifts rotating every third Saturday. As a valued member of ECHN's hospital-employed team, you will provide inpatient medical management for obstetrical, gynecological, and urological patients. Your responsibilities include conducting evaluations, performing inpatient consultations, rounding on inpatients, managing pre-and post-operative care, and first assisting in surgeries including robotic cases. Job Description
- Provide inpatient medical management for obstetrical, gynecological, and urological patients
- Conduct evaluations and perform inpatient consultations
- Round on inpatients and manage pre-and post-operative care
- First assist in surgeries including robotic cases
Requirements
- Graduate advanced degree of an accredited Advanced Physician Assistant (PA-C) program with preference for 1 or more years of general/multi-surgery/OB/GYN/and/or Urology experience or related training experience
- Connecticut license, Federal DEA, and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) or soon eligible
