Pediatric Hospitalist

Pediatric Hospitalist needed in NC (far eastern part of the state). This is a locums/contract position that is scheduled to start November 1, 2020.

Job Description

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Experience: Would prefer 2-5 years of experience but not required
• Schedule: To be determined; will most likely involve rounding in the morning and then being on AM/PM call
• Procedures: Routine procedures including starting IVs, doing LPs, stabilizing sick neonates, intubations, and umbilical catheters. Will need to do circumcisions, but the site is willing to train if no experience.
• Duties: Need to be able to take care of newborns and stabilize sick newborns until they are better or able to be transferred.
• Site would prefer local candidates but is willing to pay travel and lodging for the right candidate.
