**Job Description**

- Provides direct patient care by evaluating, setting goals, designing treatment programs, performing treatments, re-evaluating and modifying treatments, participating in discharge planning, and providing patient/caregiver education for patients whom the therapist is qualified to treat, according to age and condition.
- Adjusts workload to meet the demands of patient care, including the alteration of scheduled work hours including weekends.
- Responsible for the safety of patients assigned while they are in the patient treatment areas and is aware of the overall safety conditions in the areas. Unsafe conditions or actions are to be corrected and/or reported to appropriate management staff.
- Actively participates in supervising students as deemed appropriate by the supervisor/clinical coordinator.
- Completes documentation requirements promptly, accurately, and thoroughly according to policies.
