Neurologist

Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a physician group in Houma, Louisiana, about 50 miles south of New Orleans, to recruit a new Neurologist. This is a community-based Neurology practice with outpatient clinic and inpatient consults. There is no night or weekend call; stroke calls are covered via telehealth from New Orleans. The clinic is replacing a Neurologist who relocated and is looking to provide care to the community.

Job Description

• Seeking board-certified or eligible Neurologists
• Outpatient and inpatient daily coverage (about 85%/15%)
• Inpatient is consult service only - no night or weekend calls
• Equipped for EMG, EEG, Botox, and every component of general Neurology
• Teaching opportunity - will work with Medical Students and the group has its own Internal Medicine Residency program with 24 residents who will rotate through the Neurology clinic
• Seeking an outgoing interpersonal communicator to help grow this practice and build something great
