RN Clinical Supervisor - Emergency Department (Full Time Days)

The Clinical Supervisor, in collaboration with the Director, is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department, including all aspects of patient care, staffing, fiscal responsibility, and strategic goals of the unit. This designated leader is responsible for the implementation, supervision, and evaluation of safe patient care while promoting a safe environment for employees, families, and visitors. The Clinical Supervisor maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the ages, developmental stages, and special needs of the population. Target 100 behavior is promoted at all times.

Job Description

• Proven leadership skills to include achievement, management, interpersonal relations, problem solving, critical thinking, positive communications, and personal performance.

Requirements

• A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required. If you hold an RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days.
• BLS required upon hire. PALS, ACLS, and CPI required within orientation. BSN preferred. Relevant mandatory certifications for department within orientation period.
• 3 years of ED experience with demonstrated leadership ability. Certifications as required by designated unit assignment.
