Neonatology Opportunity

Seeking a BC/BE Neonatologist to join one established BC Neonatologist. This is a hospital-employed position with a 24-bed, Level III NICU. The average census is 14 babies, and the hospital averages 1800 deliveries annually. Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists are readily available via telemedicine, and there is immediate access to Cardiologists. The facility offers HFOV, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia. The Ronald McDonald House is located within walking distance of the hospital, and Freeman is the only Children's Miracle Network Hospital in a 70-mile radius. There are teaching opportunities with medical students and emergency medicine residents, and an Epic EMR system is coming soon. A near-site daycare center is available for children of Freeman employees. Competitive salary and an excellent benefits package including malpractice, CME, tail insurance, and more are offered.
