Locum Tenens Hospitalist MD/DO

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible MD/DO Hospitalist to provide Locum Tenens coverage in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This opportunity is for daytime coverage with a rotating weekend schedule. Family Medicine physicians with 5+ years of dedicated hospitalist experience may also be considered.

Job Description

• Location: Hot Springs, AR
• Setting: Inpatient Hospital
• Specialty: Hospitalist
• Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM shifts
• Shifts Available:
  • May: 2, 7
  • June: 2, 8

Priority is given to providers available for all listed dates. Please specify exact availability when submitting.

• Patient Load: Approximately patients per day
• Required Procedures: None
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: Available onsite
• Reason for Coverage: Provider relocation

Requirements

• Active Arkansas Medical License (Required at the time of submission)
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (with 5+ years of hospitalist experience)
• Available for listed dates
• DEA, BLS, ACLS (current)
• No current disclosures, disciplinary actions, or license restrictions

Credentialing

• Timeframe: 2 - 3 weeks
• Credentialing is limited to one facility; no shared credentialing

Travel & Lodging

• Travel Covered
• Preferred lodging at nearby hotels

Submission Requirements

• Updated CV (with month/year and explanations for all gaps over 30 days)
• Malpractice documentation (NPDB report or full case write-up with dates and outcomes)
• Written explanations of any past or current disciplinary actions
• Copies of Board Certification(s)
• Active state medical license
• Supporting certifications (DEA, BLS, ACLS, etc.)
• Copy of clean Sex Offender Registry search
