    Outpatient Neurologist

    We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist (MD/DO) to join a well-established neurosciences team in an outpatient-only setting. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in Neuromuscular Disorders or Neurophysiology and be comfortable performing EMG/NCV.

    This is a unique opportunity to practice at a large regional referral center that is one of only three Comprehensive Stroke Centers in Alabama, alongside a collaborative team of general neurologists, interventional neurologists, neurosurgeons, neurohospitalists, and APP support.

    Job Description

    • Setting: Outpatient clinic located on the medical campus
    • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
    • Call: No weekend, holiday, or call requirements
    • Patient Volume: Scheduled appointments only
    • Cases: EMG, stroke follow-up, chronic and complex neurological conditions
    • Team Support: Dedicated APPs + multispecialty collaboration with neurosurgery, neuroendovascular, and rehab teams
    • Technology: EPIC EMR, on-site neurodiagnostic testing with trained techs

    Requirements

    • MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
    • Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders/Neurophysiology (preferred)
    • Must be willing to complete EMG/NCV
    • DEA license (required)
    • BLS (preferred)
