Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (Locum Tenens)

Join a dedicated care team at a well-respected tribal health facility in Anadarko, OK, serving a vibrant Native American population. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to provide full-scope OB/GYN care in an outpatient setting.

Job Description

• Deliver comprehensive women’s health services, including prenatal and postpartum care, annual exams, family planning, contraception counseling, and STI screenings
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure culturally competent and patient-centered care
• Perform routine gynecologic procedures (e.g., Pap smears, endometrial biopsies, IUD insertion/removal)
• Document all patient encounters thoroughly in the electronic medical record
• Provide health education and promote preventative care within the community

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (any state license accepted under federal/tribal guidelines)
• Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) preferred
• Minimum 2 years of women’s health experience strongly preferred
• DEA license and BLS certification required
• Prior experience working in Native/Tribal health, rural health, or underserved settings is a plus
• Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary care team

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate of $62.00 - $78.00 per hour with expected hours of 40 per week.
