    Emergency Medicine Physician

    We are seeking EM residency-trained, ABEM or AOBEM certified (or eligible) physicians who are ready to grow their careers in a supportive and well-established team environment.

    Job Description

    • Average of 14 shifts per month with a 67-day block off every month. Extra shifts available if you want to boost your income.
    • Earn a competitive salary in the $430,000-$480,000 range, including base pay, night differentials, and incentives.
    • Performance bonuses of $30,000 annually for your first 3 years, increasing to $40,000 annually starting year 4.
    • $100,000 sign-on bonus at the start of employment.

    Practice Highlights

    • 60,000 annual ED visits with a high-acuity patient mix.

    • 24/7 specialty support: neurosurgery (including neuroendovascular and neurohospitalists), cardiology/interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, orthopedics, and general surgery.
    • 32 ICU beds and 10-bed Neurocritical Care Unit with dedicated intensivists.
    • Hospitalist and Clinical Decision Unit coverage for admissions, transfers, and observation patients.
    • Advanced imaging on-site: 3 MRIs (including a 3T), 3 CTs (including a 64-slice), and PET scanner.
    • Teaching opportunities through ACGME-accredited residency programs and the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.
