    Registered Nurse (RN), Cath Lab

    Job Description

    • Full-time position with a revolving 5-week track schedule
    • Every 5th weekend and 30-minute call requirement
    • Carry out an appropriate plan of care based on assessment, clinical recommendations, and requirements in a team-oriented environment for cardiac procedures
    • Perform medication administration in a safe and compliant manner while monitoring patients who have received sedation within the procedural care area
    • Document in compliance with hospital and nursing standards using Cerner documentation hospital-wide and McKesson or "Change" documentation within the procedural area
    • Continuously evaluate patient conditions and make independent decisions while providing education based on patient circumstances, condition, cultural, and spiritual needs
    • Monitor, identify, and appropriately handle pacing protocols with assistance from EP physician on Abbott Workmate
    • Remove and manage site from arterial and venous sheaths with training
    • Work closely in a sterile environment with the interdisciplinary team to perform procedures such as Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, BivICD, BiV pacemakers, Micra pacemaker, Ablations for Atrial fibrillation/Flutter and Cryo-Ablations, SVT, Ventricular tachycardia, and Loop Recorder Watchmen Implantation

    Requirements

    • Current state RN license
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
    • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
    • ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
    • One year of experience preferred; 1-3 years preferred with recent critical care or EP/CL experience
