Certified Medical Assistant

Gastroenterologists PC, an affiliate of Unity Point Health, is adding new clinical positions. We are looking for a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing GI office. We are adding 2 Physicians and searching for compassionate team members to join our Specialty Practice. We work closely with referral sources, insurance companies, and providers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Part-time options are available as well with a flexible schedule: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs afternoons.

Job Description

• Patient education
• Calling patients with results
• Procedure scheduling
• Obtaining prior authorizations
• Assisting providers and patients during office clinic times
• Answering and triaging phone calls

Requirements

• Iowa Licensure, CMA certification, and BCLS certification required.
